Mr. James E. Pugh, Jr. “Buck”, age 58, of Southern Pines, North Carolina, died Saturday, April 23, 2022, at the FirstHealth Hospice House, in Pinehurst, North Carolina,

after a brief illness.  He was employed with the Town of Aberdeen and the Ironwood Café for many years.

Those left with many fond memories of James are, his soulmate of thirty-three years, Sylvia Watkins; one daughter, Niesha Watkins (Justin Hickmond); stepson, Anthony Watkins (Timisha); three siblings, Sandra Pugh, Brigitte Lindsay (Steve), and Quentin McLean; four grandchildren, Skylar and Tyler Hickmond, Anthony James Watkins, and Wyatt Watkins; a host of other relatives and dear friends.
